I had a conversation with a client today about balance. Healthy living has many definitions, but in my eyes, it means balance. It’s not chicken and broccoli every day, it’s not restricting yourself in hopes of dropping 10 pounds and it’s definitely not depriving yourself of what your soul needs…it’s eating chocolate; but in moderation. It’s allowing yourself to have a drink or two when you’re out when your friends; but keeping hydrated every single day. It’s taking a rest day when you need it; but making time for dedicated activity when you don’t…it’s mixing what’s good for your soul with what’s good for your body and health. Becoming a master at this is extremely hard. I still work every day for it. But if you try to be the absolute best version of you, and always thank yourself for taking time for your body, health will follow naturally.
